Cerro Champaquí

Located in the heart of the Sierras of Córdoba, Cerro Champaquí is the highest peak in the province, reaching 2,790 meters above sea level. This impressive mountain is part of the Sierra de los Comechingones and is an ideal destination for trekking and adventure enthusiasts.

 

This activity invites us to connect with nature using only our body, without the need for special equipment, other than the desire to walk and share a unique experience.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - Friday 18 | Piedra del Molino

The day begins at noon with a departure for Piedra del Molino. After approximately three hours of hiking, the route will take us to a beautiful waterfall, where we'll pause to enjoy the scenery and recharge with a snack.

After the break, we'll head back to the hotel to regain our strength and prepare for Saturday's event.

Day 2 – Saturday 19 | Ascent to Cerro Champaquí

Nos reunimos a las 7 AM en la plaza de San Javier para iniciar el ascenso al Cerro Champaquí, el pico más alto de Córdoba con 2.790 metros de altura. Durante el recorrido, atravesaremos paisajes increíbles hasta llegar a la cumbre, donde almorzaremos disfrutando de las vistas panorámicas del Valle de Traslasierra y el Valle de Calamuchita. Luego, comenzamos el descenso, finalizando la expedición alrededor de las 18 hs.​
